This summer I had the privilege of traveling to Malawi Africa to see how the funds raised from the 30 Hour Famine are working. I traveled with students and youth pastors who participated and led famines across the United States. There was one thing that we agree on (there’s actually a few things we a agree on but one resounding echo from our time together) and it was this….

There is hope.
Love is at work.
We can be a part of it.
And, there is no better time than now to get involved.

After what we’ve seen, we can’t imagine why we wouldn’t do the famine.

A farmer we met in the are. He was explaining how he supports his family and entire community with his new ability to raise healthy crops and  harvest fish.
