I’ll be sharing Psalm 131 tonight at SYMC–one of my favorite passages in the entire Bible. I changed the voice for us to pray together.
Our hearts are not proud, Lord,
our eyes are not haughty;
we do not concern ourselves with great matters
or things too wonderful for us.
But we have calmed and quieted ourselves,
We are like weaned children with their mothers;
like weaned children we are content.
Let us put our hope in the lord,
both now and forever.
Empty us God, so that we can be filled by you. Amen.
